The Client
One of the largest hospital systems in the United States, operating 165 hospitals across 39 states and Puerto Rico and employing over 43,000 healthcare professionals.
Challenge
When the hospital system initiated its Oracle Health Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation, it faced significant adoption challenges. The initial approach heavily emphasized the go-live event rather than sustainable adoption, resulting in user resistance, limited engagement, and workflow misalignments. These issues, combined with insufficient educational support, threatened the success of the implementation across the system.
To overcome these obstacles and achieve their goals of improved clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies, and cost savings, the organization turned to Clariti Solutions. Each year, new hospitals go live with a 10-week track to adoption, and the majority of their education is provided by Clariti. Drawing on research-backed methodologies, Clariti developed a comprehensive, tailored strategy that went beyond traditional implementation approaches. This end-to-end solution effectively addressed risk mitigation, resolved critical issues, and aligned perfectly with the organization's long-term objectives for Oracle Health adoption, setting the foundation for sustainable success across all facilities.
Strategy

The Results
Through the implementation of Clariti's solutions, Oracle Health was successfully adopted across the organization's entire network of 165 locations. The blended learning approach, which combined online simulators with classroom sessions, proved highly effective, resulting in exceptional course completion rates and satisfaction scores. This comprehensive strategy not only reduced training costs but also ensured strong knowledge retention among users. Survey responses consistently highlighted the effectiveness of this dual learning approach, with participants specifically noting the value of combining self-paced online simulation with structured classroom instruction. Additionally, the forecasted cost savings of around $45 million and the estimated 160,422 patient care days reclaimed by staff enabled the organization to reinvest substantial resources into patient care.
"All Clariti staff have demonstrated consistent excellence in working to design, develop, and/or revise simulators over the past 13 years! The role-based curriculums continue to be auto-assigned to all new hires, and the impact of providing the same foundation to new learners across 165 hospitals cannot be overstated!"
